Steak gets a flavor kick with brandy and Dijon mustard.
Heat the oil and butter in a large skillet, add the steaks, and cook over high heat for 2 – 4 minutes on each side, depending on how well done you like your steak. Season with salt on both sides, transfer to a serving dish and keep warm. Pour the brandy into the skillet and cook, scraping up the sediment on the bottom, until the liquid has evaporated. Stir in the cream, season with salt if necessary, and cook until thickened. Stir in the mustard, pour the sauce over the steaks and serve.Steak with Mustard
