Pan-fried salmon steak is a delicacy when seared in olive oil and butter and seasoned with honey, lemon, garlic, and red pepper flakes. It also makes a perfect weeknight dinner since it takes only 15 minutes to prepare.
Rinse the steaks and pat dry with paper towels. Season on both sides with salt and pepper. In a large skillet heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add salmon and sear until the bottom is golden about 5 minutes. Add garlic, lemon juice, honey, and red pepper flakes. Using a spatula flip the steaks and sear until the salmon is cooked through, another 5 minutes, spooning sauce over the steaks. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.Pan-Seared Salmon Steaks
