Do you have leftover bread?
Make croutons!
Melt butter in a large pan. Spread bread cubes in a single layer in the pan and roast over mild heat until golden brown and crispy. Stir or shake the pan occasionally. Transfer the croutons onto a large sheet of absorbent kitchen paper. Let them cool down and serve immediately. Tip: Croutons should preferably be used on the day of preparation. If you still want to prepare the croutons 1 – 2 days in advance, they are best if stored in an airtight container. Croutons can be sprinkled on all creamy soups and salads. How To Make Homemade Croutons
